Pages of the ARCO forum

In February 2008 I was involved in a conflict in the ARCO (“Animal Rights Community Online”) main forum, mainly between the heavily vocal upholders of Gary Francione's conception of the animal question, and a few other members including myself.

The conflict lead rapidly to another member and myself being banned without notice nor explanation. The site was heavily edited, a number of posts being silently deleted and threads being moved around to more discreet quarters.

Having saved on my hard disk a number of pages in the days preceeding the clash, I have decided to make these available here, for future reference.

I present the pages as they were saved, which means without stylesheets and images. That makes them somewhat difficult to read, but the texts of the posts are still there.

Some of the threads are given here several times, as saved at different dates. That is because of the silent deletion tactics that were used makes it possible for messages to have been deleted between one version and another; and I have not sorted out which files are actually useful. The dates and times given are in the format YYYYMMDD-hhmm (UTC+1).
